Before we get into your home, please make sure the house is free of paint chips, visible dust and debris from renovation or repairs. The walls should be free of peeling or flaking paint, with no cracks in the paint that would make it easily peeled. The paint on the walls should not be chalky or show bubbles that would be attractive for kids to burst. When it comes to the windows, all chipped paint on the sill and the window due to friction should be given a fresh coat of paint, or may be even better the friction areas not painted at all. Holes in the wall around plumbing pipes etc should also be properly sealed. If work has been done to the outside of the house, additional care should be taken so the areas immediately outside to the house are also free of dust and debris.
